What are we looking for in our educators?

We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate the following minimum standards in their applications:

Hold a teaching qualification which meets the requirements for recognition to teach in grant-aided schools in Northern Ireland.
Hold a degree or equivalent qualification with a mininum of 2.2 classification in a subject closely related to the subject they teach.
Registered with the General Teaching Council for Northern Ireland (GTCNI).
Have a minimum of 5 years classroom teaching experience, 3 of which must have been in last 5 years.
Have examining/moderation experience with a relevant examining board.
Can demonstrate a strong understanding of their subject and the requirements of the various exam board specifications for the subjects they teach.
Can demonstrate a track record of success at GCSE and/or A Level.
Can demonstrate a good understanding of IT with respect to the classroom delivery of their subject.
